Karl and Choupette
In memory of fashion legend and icon, Karl Largerfeld. Pictured with his cat, Choupette. “She stays always with me and she has two personal maids. If you saw her, you would understand.” Likening her to Hollywood scree siren Greta Garbo, he continued, “There is something unforgettable about her, the way she moves, the way she plays. She’s an inspiration for elegance. For attitude.” He first met Choupette whilst house-sitting for French model Baptiste Giabiconi in 2011, and joked that he ‘abducted’ the feline before turning her into an international model. “There is no marriage, yet, for human beings and animals… I never thought that I would fall in love like this with a cat,” the fashion mogul admitted of his profound love for his furry companion.
